Step 8. Choose Your Template:

All blogging platforms offer pre-made templates that you can customize the appearance of to some degree without HTML skills or with HTML skills you can go much further in changing the appearance of your blog.

You can learn to customize the template yourself or hire a web designer/developer to do so.

You can change the template the day you create your blog or at any later date.

Blogger provides a multitude of free templates to create your blog with. If you do not add any customization switching from template to template is a smooth process. If you have cutomized your template's appearance (font colors, sizes, background color, etc.) those changes will be lost when you select a new template.

Some templates are offered in different color options. Choose the one closest to yoru logo colors so that you can create visual branidng consistency between your blog, business card and website.

Do not feel like you have to wait until your blog looks 100% the way you want it to before you begin blogging. The sooner you start the sooner:
• search engines will begin indexing your content
• you’ll gain experience using the options for customizing your posts
• writing becomes easier. Practice is the only way to improve.
