Blogger Tips
Step 21. How to create a post

(Keywords are the words people would use to search for your product or service in a search engine like Google or Yahoo)

Post Content

• Use “keyword rich” post titles
• Use keyword rich copy
• Add interesting photos & videos

Posting Basics

• Post at least once per week.
• Post about multiple topics to increase your fan base
• Focus on the positive
• When adding photos make sure to rename your image file to reflect what your photo does. For instance remove the original file name which is usually something like “P0001973.JPG” and replace with a keyword rich file name like “swarovski_crystal_pineapple_cake_topper.jpg”

What if I don't write well?
You don't have to write a lot. Seriously your readers will appreciate quality over quantity.

If you seriously aren't a good writer? Start out by posting photos with simple one line captions. Work up to writing longer posts. Use Google to check questions you have about grammar like the use of colons, semi colons, parenthesis, quotation marks. The more often you do it the faster you'll learn and soon you'll find your overall writing skills will have improved. I know my grammar is not always perfect but I do my best and appreciate when readers let me know when they spot a typo.

Just a paragraph with a picture is enough to create an interesting blog post. Humor is always good so if you can make it funny even better. And be sure to use spell check. This is one of my favorite SC sites because you can test entire blocks of text if the program you are using doesn't offer it: www.SpellCheck.net
